Our tax team have made their 2020 growth ambitions crystal-clear, welcoming three high-profile new members, all with Big 4 backgrounds, just weeks into the decade. It was only last year that we expanded into Bristol and London, were crowned the best place to work in Europe, and came 13th in The Sunday Times’ Top 100 Best Companies to Work For list. But now, we’ve got a new decade of disruption ahead of us.

Simon Morris is our new Partner and Head of Private Clients in London. He’s joined us from PwC, where he was a Partner since 2005. And he’s bringing with him a track record of leading numerous transformational projects focussing on value-add client service and team efficiency. The other two new faces, Mark Baxter and Ros Chapman, will be based in our East Midlands office, Sky View.

Mark arrives as a Senior Manager to advise entrepreneurial clients, after spending the majority of his 23 tax years at Grant Thornton, with positions at PwC and Deloitte, too. And Ros has joined as Indirect Tax Manager following nine years at PwC, and four years at KPMG prior to that.

Ros’s arrival is another big boost to our Indirect Tax team, who welcomed their VAT and Indirect Tax Partner, Damian Shirley, and new Senior Manager, Helen Channer, from EY only a few months ago.
